Minor Puppy Bitch (1 entry)
1st Callow's CONMERYL GABRIEL OAK
What a lovely way to
start the day's judging with this delightful puppy. He has so much to like for his tender age. From his
typical head to his correctly carried tail. He is nicely balanced height to
length with complimentary conformation. Excellent bone and good width
throughout. With more practice he will move how he should.
1st Stirling's
RYSHERON'S AMERICAN HOPE FOR CLANLILY (IMP USA)
Quality puppy out of
the top drawer. There is nothing overdone which is how it should be. She is
very balanced for her age and because of that she moves very well. Ex head and
expression. Shapely outline. Well off for bone. Promising.
Puppy Dog (3 entries)
Puppy Bitch (1 entry)
1st Webb & Sheppard's
KILLOUGHERY MISSION TWO FOR INKLEYBOYS
Another one to like.
Presented a balanced outline with excellent curves. Of moderate size and good
bone to match. I like his width and depth throughout. He moves well with a
typical puppy tail carriage which should hopefully calm down.
2nd Harris's VALHERU BLACK MARLIN RAF
A much taller rangier
puppy. As a consequence at this point in time is much narrower throughout.
However, he moves steadily with good carriage. Could extend more in front.
Lacks forechest He has excellent depth about him. He has a lovely temperament
which I like to see and he is enjoying the day out. Once again his tail
carriage is all puppy and hopefully will calm down.
3rd Sharratt's LYNELOUPER LYNEDENE LADDIE
Another very tall leggy
youngster. Needs more width throughout which will develop more with age. He is
pretty nicely built and moves very easily. Uses what he has well. Unfortunately
was limping at times on the move.
1st Bridges' BARRASSY FIRECRACKER (AI)
Tall houndy puppy whose
movement in profile took my eye. She is very nicely built and balanced in
proportion. I would like a bit more forechest and width in front, but apart
from that she has a lot going for her at this age. Excellent carriage and
really covers the ground.
Junior Dog (4 entries, 1 absent)
Junior Bitch (7 entries, 1 absent)
1st Turini Salamon's BENBOW DELLA BASSA PAVESE
Delightful youngster of
moderate size. I liked his head and soft expression. Super long neck. I also
liked his height to length balance. He has a fabulous outline with good width
throughout. Uses both front and rear very well especially in profile. Good
forechest. Just needs to tighten in front .Presented so well. Will challenge
strongly when mature.
2nd Guntrip's BRACHAN GIORNO DI NATALE
Another fabulous
youngster. Real old fashioned type with no frills. I liked his masculine
head, strong neck. Strong topline.
Excellent tail carriage. He has a real correct front and rear assembly which he
uses well. Good forechest. Everything I look for at this age. Not as fluid on
the move as 1. One certainly to watch.
3rd Donaldson & Smallwood's
RAINSTER EUAN AT KIRKARSWELL
Impressive young Hound.
Took my eye but was reluctant to be gone over. However his attributes where
plain to see. He is balanced with a curvaceous outline. He moves correctly and
is sound. I have seen him much more confident so today was a blip I’m sure.
Three good Hounds.
1st MacLeod's BRACHAN NEVE DI NATALE (AI)
Powerful bitch who
really impressed. Loved her proportions and general outlook. Excellent head
strong but feminine. Very nicely balanced front and rear. Excellent forechest
and required depth. Good harsh coat .Very sound mover. Great bone. Into last 4
in the challenge.
2nd Forret's
BANSHEE DELLA BASSA PAVESE AT CULVERCROFT (IMP ITA)
Super young girl. Very
close up to 1. Not as houndy but nicely balanced. Liked her head and
expression. Excellent front and rear. Curvy
top and underline. Ex forechest. Very good bone. Once again we have a
strong sound young girl. I preferred the houndy proportions of 1. Also 1 was a
touch more precise in the rear.
3rd Filipetto's AEWIN DELLA BASSA PAVESE
Eye catching pretty
young lady. She will need time to grow into her frame. Lovely outline stood.
Really covers the ground and is very true up and down. I would like more
forechest and tail to settle with maturity.
Res Wilkinson's RAINSTER EILEX AMONG HUNACRES
VHC Crosse's RAINSTER EVIE
Yearling Dog (7 entries, 1 absent)
Yearling Bitch (4 entries)
1st Pask's BARONGLEN THE NOBLEMAN (AI) JW
Commanding young hound
with presence. Typical head with lovely proportions. Strong clean neck which
flows into correct topline. He is tall and very well balanced. Good bone. I
like his outline which is curvy without weakness showing good depth of chest.
Moves very soundly. Could stride out a touch more.
2nd Anderson & White's WHITGLEN THE REAL THING
I liked the overall
look of this dog. His outline is super. He has a lovely front with good
forechest ( missing in so many hounds today). Looks so correct coming towards.
His hindquarters not overdone. He has good width between his elbows and good
depth of chest. Correct bone. I preferred the head of 1 and he just needs to
control his rear. Promising.
3rd Severn-Kumar's GAELMARQUE NOMATEUS
Strong medium sized
youngster. Very nicely built and it
showed on the move. He moves with fluidity and is very sound. I like his
balanced curvy outline but he has a tendency to go down flattening his top
line. One of the best movers.
ResMorris's KILLOUGHERY RINGLEADER
VHC Bligh's RAVENCRAG KING OF SWORDS
1st Sheppard's GAELMARQUE TREASURED BY GOLDSWIFT JW
Strong sound bitch with
very balanced proportions. She has power and retains her femininity. Ex front
with good forechest. Ex depth of chest, lovely top and underline. I like her
unexaggerated curvy outline. She moves very well. Out of the top drawer.
Considered in the final four in the challenge.
2nd Crosse's RAINSTER EVIE
A
sound honest girl. Balanced proportions.
She presents a nice outline stood and moves very well. Would just like a touch
more substance throughout and a better tail which she carries well.
3rd Gill's RAVENCRAG KERFUFFLE
Tall
houndy girl with a large frame to fill. Time will deepen and smooth out her
topline. She moves soundly. Very nicely
presented. Would like to see more power and substance.

KILLOUGHERY MISSION TWO FOR INKLEYBOYS
2nd Timmins's WOLFHOUSE GRIZZLY
A shapely nicely
balanced hound though somewhat smaller than what has gone before. He has a look
of strength and substance. His front has fore chest and good width. Front and
rear match and he is a lovely mover. I just preferred the more houndy
youngster.
3rd Bligh's RAVENCRAG KING OF SWORDS
Tall curvaceous boy.
Presents a nice outline and is happy and sound on the move. He doesn’t have the
width throughout or the bone at present of 1 & 2. Nicely presented.

1st Hooper's FLOYDIAN AFFRIC
Attractive houndy boy.
He has a typical head and soft expression. Nothing overdone. Strong neck.
Excellent top line flows in super hindquarters. His underline is good and he
shows the required depth of chest. He is
nicely balanced. I would like a bit more bone & spring of rib. He moves
very well.
1st Wilkinson's RAINSTER EILEX AMONG HUNACRES
Lovely balanced young girl. Unlucky in Junior. She presents a lovely curvaceous outline.
Good head. Adequate neck. Smooth over the shoulder. Ex rear. Good deep chest.
She has plenty of bone and was presented really well. Have seen her better on
the move. Today she was not precise going away.
2nd Keary Casely's BRAEWISAN LADY OF THE MOON
Powerful girl. Very balanced and nice outline.
She moves soundly but is carrying too much weight.
Post Graduate Dog (2 entries)
Post Graduate Bitch (5 entries)
1st Hooper's FLOYDIAN AFFRIC
2nd Croucher's ELECTRIC ATMOSPHERE
Tall leggy self assured hound. He moves very soundly
with good carriage. He has a attractive outline but for me could have better
bone. Presented and handled beautifully.
1st Forret's
VALKIRIA DELLA BASSA PAVESE AT CULVERCROFT (IMP ITA)
Smashing
girl. Powerful looking. Excellent head and expression. Adequate neck. She has
an excellent front with forechest. Good
shoulders & rear to match. Well off for bone. I would like a touch more
length of leg. Moves very soundly but not enthusiastically.
2nd Sales's OH BABY! VON DER EICHENKOPPEL
Attractive
houndy girl. She has a head to match her
build. Balanced proportions and a nice curvy outline. She has strong
hindquarters and uses them well she moves soundly both ways with correct tail
carriage.
3rd Severn-Kumar's GAELMARQUE ETHELDREDA
Feminine.
Liked her head and soft expression. She is not quite as houndy as 2 but very balanced and true in movement.
Pleasing shape but a touch soft in topline. Would just like more of her.

1st Pateman's WHITEORCHARD ATLAS
Powerful attractive
young hound. Masculine head suits his
size as does his unexaggerated strong neck. I like his overall shape and he is
very well balanced. Good forechest and good depth of chest. Ex top and
underline. He has good bone. He moves well but have seen him put more in. RCC.
2nd Treadwell & Webb's FLOYDIAN SYRACUSE AT FOINAVEN
A powerful stallion hound.
Correct head an expression. Strong neck flows smoothly into his shoulders. Not
quite as houndy as 1 but presents
balanced curvaceous outline. Ex bone. Love his forechest and has width all
through. He moves well but not as precise in front as 1.
3rd Reeves's WHITEORCHARD ARCTURUS
Another quality hound.
Litter brother to the winner. I like his masculine head. He has nothing out of
place when you run your hands over him. Good width and depth all through. Can’t
fault his movement which is easy and sound. I preferred the overall balance of
his brother and 2 who also gave the
impression of more power.

VHC Taylor & Lynch's
GAELTARRA EIREANN WATSON (IMP NLD)
1st Redfern's RAINSTER TATIANA
Substantial very powerful bitch. Really impressive. She could certainly deal with a wolf. Ex forechest. Would like a longer neck and a better lay of shoulder. Good deep chest with correct underline. Super hindquarters. Ex bone. Moves very well with purpose.
2nd MacLeod's BRACHAN WOLF MOON
A favourite of mine. Love her type. No frills. Strong feminine head. Good neck. Fabulous front. Correct topline. Could have a better underline. Strong no nonsense hindquarters. She is true on the move. A proper Irish Wolfhound bitch. Pity her owner couldn’t handle her today. Two strong powerful girls.
3rd Severn-Kumar's GAELMARQUE CAROLINE
Another
nice one from this trio. Not the power of 1 and 2 but still a fine bitch. Good
head an expression. She has a balanced look about her and a lovely outline. She
also moves how her body says she should. Correctly.

Open Bitch (4 entries, 1 absent)
1st Bradley's GLENGAIL HHEDWIG
Tall houndy powerful
young man. Has a nice presence about him. He has the required angulation both
ends but needs a bit more time to smoothen out. His forechest and depth of
chest are ex. He is nicely balanced height to length which quite often you
don’t see on the taller hounds. Good bone. He moves soundly but today could
drive more from behind.
2nd Webb's GOLDSWIFT MISSION POSSIBLE FOR INKLEYBOYS
Handsome hound. Attractive masculine furnished head. Ex neck.
Correct top and underline. He has good forechest and width throughout. Presents a pleasing
outline stood and is sound and active on
the move. Well off for bone. I felt he lacked the power of one and can muscle
up a touch in hindquarters.
3rd Dawson's HYDEBECK DREAM TYME OF GRAEFYN
Like both
1 and 2 a quality hound. He presents a smashing picture stood. He has the
correct curvaceous outline and is well balanced. Well off for bone ex depth of chest. Looking
every inch the mature hound. He needs to improve behind and his tail carriage
distracts.
1st Turini Salamon's WINTAKA DELLA BASSA PAVESE
Super
class. Fabulous young bitch who has a lot going for her. Very impressive stood.
Houndy and powerful. Her head for me was
exquisite. Lovely expressive dark eyes. Her balanced proportions are super and
I like her outline which is not overdone retaining strength. Her body was in
perfect muscular condition. She is a fabulous mover. Easy and active with
correct carriage. Lovely presentation. It was a pleasure to award her the CC
and BIS.
2nd Treadwell's FLOYDIAN SAVANNA
Another
absolute favourite of mine. She has so much of what I was looking for from her
lovely head to her correctly carried tail. She also has great forechest.
Excellent bone. Powerful frame. She was handled really well. Just not quite as houndy
as 1. I was happy to make her RBIS.
3rd Sales's MANEATER VON DER EICHENKOPPEL
Powerful
bitch. From head to tail. I like her proportions though she is a touch longer
than 1 and 2. She has enough forechest, good bone. She moves with the required
reach and drive but not enthusiastically. She was a touch soft in topline
today. But nevertheless a good bitch.

masculinity and strength. No frills. Strong Wolfhound head. Very strong neck.

and won the challenge put up by some lovely males. CC
1st Tebbutt's CH CAREDIG DESTINY
Very
strong powerful bitch. Fabulous front construction. Great shoulders. Super
topline. Excellent forechest. Really strong hindquarters. Could be better in
underline today. She has fabulous bone and is supremely muscled. Her profile
movement when she wants is so reachy and
smooth. Certainly considered in the challenge.
2nd Heather's CH WHITEORCHARD AD ASTRA JW
